teen book blog spot

WELCOME

Hi. This is a teen book blog. Books that I read and find interesting I post here. I score the books between 0 and 10 They get a rating depending on what I enjoy. This is different than other blogs because young adult books are usually reviewed by adults. These books are reviewed by another teen. You can respond to my comments if you've read the book, want to read it, or just think it sounds interesting. Enjoy!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- JK Rowling

I went at midnight with a friend to get this book at my favorite independant bookstore: Talking Leaves. (Located on Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY.) Only time I ever did that. That night I started reading it. I would've finished it that midnight too, but I got tired. I finished it the next day. It's a great book. The epilogue is a bit of a let down, but everything before that is excellent. I won't say too much because, for some reason, someone might not have read it yet.

Cool blog, Book Warrior. We seem to share a whole lot of favourite books and authors =)

About HP...For various odd reasons, I didn't read this Harry Potter the day (or night) it was released. Apart from a crazy schedule, a part of me was putting off reading it - one, I didn't want to be disappointed; and two, I didn't want the adventure to end. =) So how do I feel having finally read it? Hmmm...not disappointed, for sure. And in a way, relieved that I will no longer have to wait another couple of years to find out what happens next.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T READ THE BOOK YET, STOP HERE!

Completely agree with you, Book Warrior, the Epilogue was unnecessary. Well, unnecessary from all but the publisher’s point of view, I’m guessing. Keep a lookout – there will be Hogwarts' books coming, starring the second generation Potters and Weasleys.

hi!thank you so much for leaving a comment. I was very excited when I saw it. I'm a little bit upset that HP has been finished. By the way, how did you find my blog?

A friend you and I have in common told me about your blog =) And I'm glad she did.

Yes, finishing (reading) a series is always a bittersweet feeling. Have you read Jonathan Stroud, by the way? I recently read his Bartimaeus Trilogy (The Amulet of Samarkand, The Golem’s Eye and Ptolemy’s Gate) - it’s also about a precocious boy wizard...but quite different...and an interesting look at the wizard vs other magical creatures vs common folk scenario.
