Tehanu - Ursula LeGuin

All the books in the Earthsea Cycle are pretty good. This particular book is about Ged, a wizard who has lost his powers; Tenar, previously a priestess, now a widow; and Therru, a girl they find. Ged and Tenar met in an earier book while rescuing each other from life threatening situations in the Tombs of Atuan, where Tenar had served as head priestess. Therru was abused by her former guardians, both physically and emotionally. Ged and Tenar are the only people who can bring back Therru to a somewhat normal life. To complicate matters, a prince is searching for Ged, and Ged does not want to be found.

I recommend this book, but you should read the series in order, otherwise parts of each book will be hard to understand.
