Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister- Gregory McGuire

I just read this book.  I thought at first that the storyline was interesting, but the writing style was rather boring.  I got into it after a while, and began to be immersed in the story.  Pretty much the book is about the older ugly stepsister and her life with her family.  It is very interesting because it does not depict "Cinderella" as poor and uncared for.  In fact, she is pampered.

I loved this book! Everyone should read it!

By the way, Gregory McGuire also wrote Wicked.
